# Smart contracts — not the JPEG https://extropyengine.com/smart-contracts Smart contracts. Not an exchange. Nothing to list. No monkey picture. You cannot send standing to a friend. You cannot cash it out. The logic inside is if-then — ordinary classical logic, checkable. The name of the thing is smart contracts. Tokenomics without a pool. Break it if you can. ## How one actually runs Not “the blockchain moved your coins.” A published case looks at signed records and does the next thing. If the inputs are not there, it does not run. A person handles that, then you write the case so next time it does. **Work.** Someone mows, restocks, merges duplicates, buys Tuesday milk. A claim gets packaged. Lookers attach — parts of the claim, more than once, later. Only then may world standing (XP) or community standing (CT) move. That is a smart contract: the close is on the graph, standing may change. **The register.** Cash still rings. The till reads world standing, community standing, this shop’s cap this week, how this shop knows you, and any on-duty proof. It prints cash collected and overlay touch. The spark dies when the ticket dies. Your grocery spark does not pay the truck. The truck is its own ticket later. **The till window.** If 10 days of cash-in versus cash-out (two 5-day weeks) say the inbound bill is still heavy, the shop’s cap steps down for everyone in line. New till: remainder 0 until that window fills. **The badge.** If a trucker’s skill record says they are on this run, the diner and the hotel treat them like a local for that ticket. When the run ends, the badge goes dark. Same community language. Not a new coin. What never runs: send standing, cash it out, a protocol treasury paying the shop back, a milk spark climbing the supply chain. Regulars who close loops get a remainder at the strip. Local book on the same language: Thursday’s invoice gets a remainder too. A box store that stays all-dollars loses the Tuesday cart or it joins.
